How it works
AI resume tailoring that doesn’t make things up.
A common complaint about AI resume tools: you ask for a tailored version and suddenly you’re an expert in software you’ve never opened. That can cost you the interview.
Why AI tools invent things
Language models are built to produce text that sounds right. When a job asks for a skill your resume doesn’t mention, a general tool will often add it anyway, along with a confident number.
What Dayfive does instead
Your facts stay fixed. Employers, job titles and dates are locked. Tailoring can only reword and reorder what you already wrote.
Every number is checked. If a number in the new version doesn’t appear in your profile or the job posting, the draft is thrown out.
It fails safely. If a draft can’t pass those checks, you see “Could not write this. Your profile is unchanged.” You never get a half-made-up resume.
Gaps are shown, not hidden. The skill check marks job requirements as direct, related or missing, so you can add real experience or leave it out.
You review before you send
Each tailored version shows a short list of what changed against your master resume. Download it as PDF or Word, named for the role and company.
