Job offer comparison
Compare offers against the life you want.
A bigger salary is only one part of an offer. Look at pay, benefits, commute and flexibility together—or prepare a request when you have just one offer.
Look beyond the headline salary

Compare up to three offers side by side
Enter the actual terms of each offer. The matrix brings base pay, bonus, time off, retirement match, health-plan deductible, estimated equity value and remote flexibility into one view. Add commute time and costs to consider what a workday would really look like.
Use figures from your offer documents and your own estimates. Dayfive does not fetch market salary data or verify an employer’s benefits. Uncertain bonuses and equity are not the same as guaranteed cash.
Look at your budget, not just annual pay
Add your healthcare premium, retirement contributions and household expenses to see an estimated monthly cash figure and compare it with a minimum you set yourself. The estimate uses 2026 federal single-filer tax assumptions and FICA. It excludes state and local taxes, credits and some premium tax treatment.
Employer retirement contributions are not spendable cash. Equity and a one-time signing bonus are excluded from recurring compensation value. These are planning estimates, not tax or financial advice; consult a qualified adviser for your circumstances.
Prepare a request without inventing leverage
Draft an email or phone script for a signing bonus, work arrangement, time off or more time to decide. If you mention a competing offer, use only a real offer with confirmed terms. You review and send every request yourself.
Negotiation templates do not claim a market salary or guarantee a better offer. They help you state a specific request clearly and respectfully.
Useful for steady work and bigger career moves
A commute or healthcare cost can matter as much as a salary difference. Senior candidates can also compare equity and retirement contributions. You decide which terms matter most; the tool organizes the details rather than choosing for you.
