Keep the details you would otherwise lose
Add the job title, company, posting and any location or pay details you have. Record your application date and time after you submit. Dayfive does not apply for you or monitor an employer’s inbox: you update the board as your search moves forward.
Move from Saved to Closed
Your board has Saved, Applied, Screen, Interview, Offer and Closed stages. Move a job when its status changes. On a phone, focus on one stage at a time. Keep the tailored resume you sent attached to the job so you can review it before a call.
The Today view brings follow-ups and interview-stage jobs together. Search-health summaries describe the applications you recorded; they are not predictions about your chances of being hired.
Know when to follow up
Dayfive uses your recorded application time to prepare an in-app follow-up kit on day five, with a short note, send-time tips and possible reply examples. Review the employer’s instructions before sending; if they ask applicants not to contact them, respect that request.
You copy and send the note yourself, then mark it sent. There is a second note for day ten, followed by a stop rather than an endless sequence. Email and text reminders are not currently enabled. Employer-reply examples are possibilities, not messages Dayfive received or predictions.
Prepare without switching between scattered notes
Use the saved posting to tailor your resume, keep reusable application answers, record contacts and start interview practice. When an offer arrives, use the offer comparison tools to review it.
Start with 25 jobs free
The free plan tracks up to 25 jobs and includes day-five follow-up notes on tracked applications. Dayfive+ removes the job limit and adds more resume and interview tools. Compare the free and paid plans.
Dayfive is not a job board or an auto-apply service. Find openings where you normally search, add the ones you want to pursue and apply through the employer’s requested process.
